Sri Aravind Limbavale, Minister for Education, Karnataka, made a visit to Sri Bharatamata Mandir and had Darshan of the Divine Mother on Sunday, May 2, 2010. He was received by Sadhu Prof. V. Rangarajan, Founder of Bharatamata Gurukula Ashram and Yogi Ramsuratkumar Indological Research Centre.
Sri B.K. Srinivasamoorthy, veteran Swayamsevak of RSS, who performs the Poojas in the Mandir, explained to the Minister how the Mandir came up because of the efforts of the Sadhu who has been from his childhood inspired by the ideals of Sri Guruji Golwalkar and was consecrated by Poojya Jagatguru Sri Vishwesha Teertha of Udipi Pejawar Mutt in the presence of former Sah Sarkaryavah of RSS, Sri H.V. Seshadriji, in 2004.
Sri C. Anandmoorthy, Engineer in charge of the construction work of Sri Guruji Golwalkar Hindu Resource Centre on the second floor of the Ashram, and Sri C.K. Balraj, a Karyakarta of Samanvaya, took him around the place of construction of the Centre. The Minister saw the work in progress and evinced interest to know the space allotted for the library of the Hindu Resource Centre. He promised help and cooperation from the Government.
